Mr. Newman has experience representing individual and corporate debtors in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings as well as representing individual and corporate creditors across the entire spectrum of bankruptcy proceedings including adversary proceedings involving preference claims, non-dischargeability disputes and avoidance matters.

Mr. Newman has further experience representing lenders and other financing institutions in general matters before both state and federal courts. Mr. Newman also has experience representing both individuals and businesses in general civil matters before both state and federal courts including matters relating to general contractual disputes, real property controversies and collection actions.

Mr. Newman is admitted to the State bar of Michigan, the United States District Courts for both the Eastern & Western Districts of Michigan and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for both the Eastern & Western Districts of Michigan. Mr. Newman is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Genesee County Bar Association. Mr. Newman is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Mr. Newman is a graduate of the University of Michigan (1995, B.B.A. with high distinction) and the Fordham University School of Law (1998, J.D.) where he was a senior editor on the Fordham Urban Law Journal
